However, the doctors, nurses and medics of our hospital have the lion's share of humanitarian asistance. They perform all areas of medical treatment; from amputation to emergency dental work- all right out in the poorest areas of Port Au Prince.
I can honestly say, that these are some of the finest medical professionals the United States has to offer. They are truly American Heroes.
We encourage all our service members to lend a hand to the "docs" at least once. It is an experience none will ever forget.
